Anniversary gaming celebration promises to be bigger with a more star-studded lineup, more exciting tournaments, prizes and, new games to be unveiled...

Makati City, March 2009  -  IP e-Game Ventures Inc., (e-Games) and X-Play Online Games Inc. (X-Play) are gearing up for  Domination III,  its biggest gaming event of the year, happening this April 4, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

Domination III, which is also the 3rd year anniversary celebration of e-Games, promises to be grander when it comes to online gaming competition, gamer activities, entertainment and prizes.

Ed Pasion, VP for Marketing for e-Games, said that this year the theme for Domination III will be completely different.  He added that upon entering the venue, gamers will experience entering a completely different world.  “We want the gamers to live the game.  We’re telling everyone that this is the place to be, hence the tag line San ka pa?!”

Three times the excitement
Domination III promises to be bigger, starting with a more star-studded lineup gracing the event! Get to see the Sexbomb dancers, Ryza Cenon, Vaness Del Moral, Yasmien Kurdi and more GMA Kapuso Stars perform! There will also be special appearances by JC Tiuseco, Mark Herras, Rainier Castillo, Chynna Hortaleza, Prince Stefan and more!

On top of that, a Cosplay fashion show and contest are also planned for the gaming event to be led and hosted by none other than Cosplay Princess and local pop culture sensation Alodia Gosiengfiao.

Prizes for the tournaments and raffles are bigger and better!  More than 1 million pesos worth of prizes are up for grabs ranging from a  scooter, trips to Singapore and   Hong Kong,  gaming PCs and laptops,  mobile phones, Ipod Nano players,  exclusive memorabilia, valuable in-game items and more.

e-Games will also announce a major raffle contest at Domination III which will be considered a first for the local online gaming industry.

e-Games is also preparing a lot of online and offline gaming activities for its loyal gaming community.  There will be dedicated booths and areas for players of RAN Online, the no. 1 campus-based MMORPG; CABAL Online, the medieval-futuristic fantasy MMORPG; Granado Espada, the pseudo-historical fantasy online game; ZX Online: Journey to Immortality, e-Games’ first Chinese MMORPG and NosTale, its cute online adventure game.

For its casual gaming players, X-Play will have dedicated areas for Audition Dance Battle, the leading online rhythm game. Audistas will see first-hand the new re-designed web site with new features. O2Jam, the top online beat music game, will be relaunched with a new web site design and a new program that will cater to the launch of indie bands.

eGamers will also get a sneak peak with NBA Street Online, the hottest mid-session NBA online game. Basketball fanatics will be able to own their home court online.  e-Games will also introduce Fifa Online 2, an EA Sports online soccer game. Fifa Online 2 offers players a new and exciting way to fulfill their soccer dreams. Gamers can take control of their favorite clubs and players and experience soccer gameplay like never before.

All e-Games and X-Play titles will have their own national tournament finals at Domination III. Players from Visayas and Mindanao who won the regional legs of National tournaments will be flown in from their respective areas

 
Three times the fun
There will be bigger free-play areas where gamers can play their favorite e-Games and X-Play titles.  A total of 250 PCs, unprecedented in a local gaming event, will be on hand for tournaments and free-play.

e-Games is also making sure that players from the Visayas Mindanao and other areas will be able to witness the event through Domination III microsite’s live video streaming and blogging sessions. Players from these areas will be able to join in the live discussions, post their comments in real time, and even interact with special Domination III guests.

With so much at stake, both e-Games and X-Play launched Road to Domination III, its   nationwide campaign to search for the best e-Games and X-Play gamers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to compete in the Domination III national tournaments. The Road to Domination III started January 31 at key locales of Davao and Luzon. Soon after, the pre-Domination nationwide campaign moved onto key cities of Visayas and Northern Luzon.
