Frequently Asked Questions...
Hockey shoulder pads?
Im looking for new shoulder pads but i dont know which ones to get. I want a pair that looks like Im not wearing shoulder pads at all ( im trying to say is i want small shoulder pieces). i dont want them bulky and i would take maneuverability over protection.
i play u18 aa so its a checking league
Answer:
It is difficult to find exactly what you are looking for these days with most shoulder pads being pretty big and bulky. I wear shoulder pads mostly for the chest and back protection. We don't do much hitting in my leagues so I just want protection from errant pucks and sticks hitting my chest and back. I have really like the Jofa/Reebok stuff, at least the higher end stuff. The fits is great. Check out www.hockeygiant.com for some great deals.
